The timber mill Agneta is in the town of Ruurlo, a pretty community in the Achterhoek in the east of The Netherlands. I saw it for the first time in 1995 and eleven years later saw it again and so decided to make a woodcut print of it.

For the print some items were changed, like replacing the brick walls of the sheds with planking and a few stacks of timber have been shuffled around.
Printed on Kochishi, a heavy Japanese paper, natural buff colour.
Black water-based printing ink, applied with a brayer and printed by hand with a baren.
